Join LAdobe on Thursday night, December 5th at 7pm at our new location at DeVry University at 15301 Ventura Boulevard in Sherman Oaks. Parking is available along Ventura Blvd and other streets in the area.

Adobe Dreamweaver CCFor our final meeting of 2013, we’re going out by taking a look under the hood of the number one web design tool out there, Adobe Dreamweaver CC. For 16 years, Dreamweaver has been the go-to application for web designers who want to create cutting edge websites with clean code and the ability for newbies to learn HTML and CSS without having to necessarily learn how to code.

But in a web design universe where the means of presenting webpages is constantly changing, how is Dreamweaver keeping up? Our own Adam Bell of dataTV and Gary Coyne have been heavily involved in working with some of the latest features of Dreamweaver CC and are here to guide you through all the new facets to create compelling web presentation. From fluid grids to the CSS designer panel to web animation without the need for Flash. You’ll learn all sorts of new features and functionality on this evening.

What if you’re new to Dreamweaver? We’ll help you out there as well, by showing you some of the great features that make designing a website so much simpler than coding by hand.

Time permitting, we’ll also take quick peeks at some of the other, newer web design tools in the Creative Cloud. Including Edge Reflow for Responsive Web Design and Edge Animate for Animation and Rich Application development.

In addition, we’ll have the finals of our Website Nightmares competition where our three finalists will show off their design mockups of what may be the new LAdobe starting in the first quarter of 2014! Winner will receive a copy of Creative Suite 6 and many other prizes. Professional judges as well as the audience will help decide the winner!

Well have food from courtesy of and drinks courtesy of Hubert’s Lemonade and LunarPages Web Hosting. This will be a fantastic evening and a must if you’re into web design and development. We look forward to seeing you on December 5th.
