Join LAdobe and the entire LA Adobe User Group community on Wednesday evening, March 13 at 5:45 for a special event called CreateNOW Los Angeles. This event will showcase many of the newer features of Adobe Creative Suite 6 with some of the top industry professionals.

The event will take place at Barnsdall Art Park’s Gallery Theatre located at 4800 Hollywood Blvd in Hollywood. Parking is free,. however we advise you arrive to the event early to secure a good parking spot.

Kevin StohlmeyerPresenters for this evening include Kevin Stolmeyer. Kevin is an Adobe Community Professional and a designer specializing in digital illustration with over 15 years experience in the field. Kevin has been teaching professionally since 2000 both as a faculty member at Madison Area Technical College, Adobe Authorized Training Centers and most recently Milwaukee Area Technical College. His experience with publication design, production workflows and illustration enhances his credibility as an Adobe Certified Instructor in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash Catalyst, Acrobat and Fireworks.He is also the co-manager of the Milwaukee Adobe Users Group and the Milwaukee Graphic Design Meetup Group. Kevin also serves as the Higher Education Coordinator for C2, Wisconsin’s only Adobe Authorized Training Center and sits on the advisory board for Milwaukee Area Technical College, ITT Technical Institute, and Waukesha County Technical College developing curriculums and software training using the Adobe Creative Suite. Kevin is also an Adobe Community Professional for Adobe Photoshop, speaking at conferences and user groups on Creative Suite 5 and Photoshop nationwide and an official Adobe Representative as a member of the Freelancers Team.

Justin SeeleyJustin Seeley is a staff author for lynda.com and an Adobe Certified Expert. He has several years experience in both print and web design, and has authored over 100 hours of instructional content to date. Justin is the creator of the Photoshop Quicktips Podcast (aka BlipTV), a show that consistently ranked in the top 25 software how-to podcasts in the iTunes store and his techniques have been featured in several digital publications, podcasts, and blogs.

Sally CoxSally Cox is an Adobe Community Professional, certified trainer and community leader in the San Francisco Bay Area. Former Adobe Art Director and published author of books and video training for video2brain.com, Peachpit Press and Adobe Press, Sally’s company, kreatable.com, specializes in eLearning development, production and instructional design. Sally also manages one of the largest Adobe User Groups in North America in the San Jose area.

The first 200 people in attendance will receive a gift bag courtesy of Adobe. There will also be food and drink served compliments of LunarPages And there will be prizes including a copy of Creative Suite 6, Creative Cloud memberships and other prizes from Astute Graphics, lynda.com and many others.
