In a major surprise today during the keynote at the Adobe MAX Conference, it was announced the next version of Flash Professional CS5 will allow for the creation of iPhone Apps using ActionScript 3 instead of the more cumbersome Javascript and/or Objective C Code. This should not be confused with the long hoped for announcement of putting the Flash Player onto the iPhone itself but instead the ability to create apps for the iPhone and iPod Touch to be incorporated into Apple’s iPhone App Store.
