October 25: Video Night with After Effects and Premiere experts

Join LAdobe on Thursday night, October 25th at 7pm at the new Cross Campus located at 820 Broadway in Santa Monica. Admission to the event is totally free and parking will be available on the street as well as various parking lots and garages in the Santa Monica area.

For this event, we’re going to have our first all-video night in over two years! This time we have two great presenters who’ll show you how to get the most of Adobe’s two main video editing and motion graphics products; Premiere Pro and After Effects.

We’ll start with Motion City Films’ Jerry Witt who will demonstrate how to cut a few shots with video in Premiere Pro, export it over to After Effects where he’ll add an animation sequence to the shot, and bring it back into the Premiere timeline.

In his demo, Jim will showcase the features of his Beauty Box Video 2.0 and might just sneak in a few additional After Effects tips as well.

Well have food courtesy of LunarPages Web Hosting and refreshments courtesy of eBoost and prizes from our various book sponsors as well as a $100 certificate from Pond5 Stock Imagery. If you’ve a videophile or just trying to become one, then you need to be out at Cross Campus on October 25th!
